Privacy Policy

This site is the portfolio of Stacy Hsu, a botanical and wildlife illustrator based in Seattle, Washington. This policy describes what information stacyhsu.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: the site collects only what you choose to send — a contact message or a newsletter signup — plus ordinary site analytics, and none of it is ever sold.
What this site collects
The contact form. When you send a message through the contact page, the name, email address, and message you enter (and, if you answer it, how you heard about me) are delivered to my inbox via Formspree, the form-processing service that powers the form. I use them only to read and respond to your inquiry.
The email newsletter. If you sign up for my newsletter in the site footer, the name and email address you enter are stored with Flodesk, the service that sends the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and your address is used for the newsletter and nothing else.
Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. This information is aggregated; I don’t use it to identify individual visitors.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like most hosting providers, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) for security and operations.
What this site doesn't do
It doesn’t sell, rent, or trade your information — to anyone, ever. It doesn’t run advertising or ad-tracking. It has no user accounts and stores no passwords or payment details.
The shop is a separate site
Purchases happen at shop.stacyhsu.com, which runs on Shopify and has its own privacy policy and terms covering orders, payment, and shipping information. Nothing you enter there is collected by this site.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.
How long information is kept
Contact messages stay in my inbox as ordinary correspondence. Newsletter signups stay with Flodesk until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you. Analytics data is retained on Google Analytics’ standard schedule.
Your choices
If you’d like to know what information I hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, email stacy@stacyhsu.com and I’ll take care of it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If the site’s practices change — a new form, a different analytics tool — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
