About
Drawing from the outdoors
I’m a designer and illustrator with a lifelong pull toward the outdoors — plants, wildlife, wild places. Whether I’m drawing cranes mid-flight, blooming botanicals, or fungi on a forest floor, the goal is the same: art that connects people to nature and tells a real story in every line.

I came to illustration by way of architecture — over 15 years as a designer before botanical and wildlife illustration became the focus. That background shows up in how I work: a strong sense of composition, purpose, and visual storytelling in every piece, whether it’s for publishing, packaging, home decor, or environmental graphics.
When I’m not at the drawing table, I’m probably hiking, kayaking, tending the garden, or out exploring with a sketchbook in hand — research as much as it is a break. I believe art can spark curiosity, foster connection, and deepen how much we care about the world around us — whether that’s an original piece at a gallery, an illustration licensed for someone else’s product, or something made just because I couldn’t stop drawing it. I’m always glad to work with people, brands, and publishers who feel the same.

“Stacy is an incredibly talented designer. I regularly recommend her to friends and colleagues who need UX design and visual design help (she's also an amazing illustrator.) She's highly skilled, versatile, creative, and thoughtful in her approach and designs. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and hope to have the opportunity to work together again.”
“Stacy has been a dream to work with. Collaborative, professional, and great communicator. The work was topnotch and was received with rave reviews by our internal clients.”
